Here the hand slows and decides. Philip Karto paints directly onto an authentic vintage bag, composing the surface into a deliberate motif until repetition turns into intention. Nothing is printed; every line is placed. This is the core of the Atelier, where craft meets control, each piece painted one at a time so no two read quite the same. An icon, rewritten and worn as a matter of taste rather than logo.

Hermès Turn-Lock Closure & Hardware
Solid brass base plated with precious metals (Hardware finish varies depending on the vintage piece received):

Gold Hardware (GHW): 18-karat gold plating, warm and enduring (sometimes 24-karat gold plating on certain vintage pieces)
Palladium Hardware (PHW): Palladium-plated, from the platinum group, whiter and brighter than silver
Locks, keys, front plates, and feet all match in finish

Pieces may be returned within 7 days of delivery for US orders, and 14 days for international orders. Items must be returned unused, in their original condition and packaging. Contact the Atelier to start your return, and we'll guide you through the process quickly and hassle-free.

Shipping:
We ship worldwide with DHL Express. Shipping is complimentary on all bags, with tracking provided so you can follow your piece to your door. Delivery times vary by destination.

International orders:
All duties and import taxes are calculated and prepaid at checkout, and your piece ships Delivered Duty Paid via DHL Express. Nothing further to pay on delivery.
