BEFORE INTERVENTION
THE SOURCE
Each work begins with an authenticated vintage luxury bag selected by the Atelier.
The piece is chosen for its structure, proportions, material and patina.
The existing object becomes the foundation for transformation.
HANDS, MACRO — 55% VIEWPORT
DISMANTLING
The original piece is carefully dismantled.
Panels, hardware, lining and structural elements are separated so the Atelier can work beyond the surface of the bag.
This is not decoration applied to a finished object.
The transformation begins within its construction.
COMPONENT PREPARATION
RESTORATION
Original components are inspected, prepared and restored where necessary.
The heritage of the object remains visible while its material life is extended through reconstruction.
HANDS AND MATERIAL
RECONSTRUCTION
The piece is reconstructed by hand.
Structure, stitching, finishing and hardware are addressed individually before the artistic intervention is completed.
Execution is never identical.
COLOUR ENTERS THROUGH THE WORK ITSELF
ARTISTIC INTERVENTION
Painting, graphic composition, embroidery, alteration or material intervention introduces a new identity.
The existing heritage object remains recognizable.
Its surface becomes a new work.
